Recycling Aluminum Cans
Protecting our environment is very important to YAD, & so we make sure to recycle. We collect aluminum cans all year long & then recycle them for various reasons. Of course taking cans to our local recycling center does help us earn a few dollars for all our hard work, but most importantly, we're keeping our community clean & reducing waste. Additionally we pop the tabs off each can and collect them to later donate to the Ronald McDonald House to help out parents in need while their children receive medical treatment in the Tampa Bay area. Even though there is no monetary benefit, we also ensure to collect old newspapers, cardboard, & plastic containers to also drop off at our local recycling center.
